Abstract
Această lucrare își propune să prezinte analiza SWOT a Regiunii Centru din cadrul României. Regiunea Centru este formată din județele Alba, Brașov, Covasna, Harghita, Mureș și Sibiu. Pentru a realiza această analiză, se vor prezenta următorii indicatori:
• Subvențiile primite de la bugetul de stat
• Lungimea totală a rețelei simple de distribuție a apei potabile
• PIB pe macroregiuni
• Numărul unităților școlare
• Rata șomajului
Prin analiza SWOT se dorește identificarea punctelor tari, a punctelor slabe, a oportunităților și a amenințărilor apărute în cadrul regiunii Centru, pentru a găsi posibile soluții de îmbunătățire a stării socio-economice a județelor respective. Potrivit Comisiei Europene, dezvoltarea regională are ca scop reducerea disparităților dintre regiunile unui stat, dar și dintre acestea și celelalte state membre. În acest context, dezvoltarea regională trebuie să țină cont de prioritățile pentru finanțare asociate perioadei respective. Printre aceste priorități se regăsește dezvoltarea unor regiuni cu o amprentă scăzută de carbon, în care să se pună accentul pe importanța cetățenilor și pe digitalizarea societății. În ceea ce privește recenzia literaturii științifice, a fost utilizat soft-ul VOSViewer pentru analiza legăturilor bibliometrice dintre state, precum și a cuvintelor cheie cel mai intes folosite de către cercetători.

SWOT analysis of the Central Region within Romania
Abstract
This paper aims to present the SWOT analysis of the Central Region within Romania. The Center Region consists of the counties of Alba, Brașov, Covasna, Harghita, Mureș and Sibiu. In ordet to conduct this analysis, the following indicators will be presented:
• Subsidies received from the state budget
• The total length of the simple drinking water distribution network
• GDP by macro-regions
• Number of school units
• Unemployment rate
The SWOT analysis aims to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the Center region, in order to find possible solutions to improve the socio-economic situation of those counties. According to the European Commission, regional development aims to reduce disparities between the regions of a state, but also between them and other Member States. In this context, regional development must take into account the funding priorities associated with that period. Among these priorities is the development of low-carbon regions, with an emphasis on the importance of citizens and the digitalisation of society. Regarding the review of the scientific literature, the VOSViewer software was used to analyze the bibliometric links between states, as well as the most frequently used keywords by researchers.
