Abstract
În acest articol, autorii se preocupă de analiza corelaţiei dintre Produsul Intern Brut şi investiţii străine directe. Metodologia de analiză abordată presupune aplicarea unei regresii lineare simple asupra unui set de date determinat,cu ajutorul unui program informatic specializat. Autorii au descris testele statistice care caracterizează seriile de date analizate, precum şi corelaţia dintre acestea. Corelaţia a fost analizată atât grafic, precum şi prin intermediul unei ecuaţii de regresie lineară simplă.

Using econometric models in the analysis of the correlation between the evolution of the Gross Domestic Product and Foreign Direct Investments
Abstract
In this paper, the authors focus on the analysis of the correlation between the Gross Domestic Product and the Foreign Direct Investments. The analysis methodology assumes the application of a simple linear regression on a determined dataset, with the help of a specialized software system. The authors have described the statistical tests that characterize the analyzed datasets, and the correlation between them. The correlation was analyzed both from the graphical viewpoint and also through a simple linear regression.
